Start with the base plan
Sling TV offers several base options, including Select, Orange, Blue and the combined Orange & Blue package. The right choice depends on the channels you actually watch, how many people need to stream at once and whether you need sports or news extras.
Select
Sling Select is positioned as a smaller, budget-focused package. It can make sense when your priority is a lower starting price and a limited set of core channels. Check the current channel list before subscribing because the lineup can change.
Orange
Orange is designed around sports and family programming. Current Sling information lists a single simultaneous stream for the base Orange service. If sports is the reason you are considering Sling, compare the current Orange channel list and any Sports Extra options.
Blue
Blue focuses more heavily on news and entertainment. Sling currently lists up to three streams for Blue. Compare the exact channels you need rather than assuming that a larger stream allowance automatically makes Blue the better option.
Orange & Blue
The combined package brings the Orange and Blue selections together and is intended for households that want broader sports, news and entertainment coverage. It costs more than either base package, so compare the channels you would otherwise need through Extras.
Extras and passes
