Sling TV support guide.
Use this guide to work through common Sling TV account, app, device, playback and connection problems before contacting official support.
Start with the basics
Confirm that your internet connection is working, the device has the latest available software, the Sling app is updated, and you are signed into the correct account. Restarting the app and device can also clear temporary problems.
Login or account problems
Check the email address and password you are entering. If the credentials are not accepted, use Sling's official account recovery process rather than repeatedly attempting passwords. Account-specific billing, subscription and cancellation questions must be handled through Sling.
Playback and buffering
Test another video or channel, restart the app, restart the network equipment if necessary, and compare Wi-Fi performance on another device. If possible, move the streaming device closer to the router or use Ethernet on compatible equipment.
App crashes or freezes
Close the Sling app completely, restart the device, check for an app update and try again. If the problem occurs only on one device, reinstalling the app may help. Record the device model and app behavior before contacting support.
When to contact Sling
Contact official Sling support for subscription changes, billing, account access, refunds related to Sling services, service-specific outages or issues that remain after device and network troubleshooting.
For account-specific support, use Sling's official Help Center.
