How Sling TV works.
Sling TV is a streaming television service. You use a supported internet-connected device, install or open the Sling TV app, sign in, and watch the programming included with your service.
1. Choose a plan
Review the current base plans and any Extras you need. Pay attention to channel availability, simultaneous streams and promotional terms.
2. Use a supported device
Sling supports a broad selection of smart TVs, streaming platforms, mobile devices and browsers. Check Sling's current supported-device list for your exact device.
3. Connect to the internet
Streaming quality depends on your internet connection, local network and device performance. A wired connection can help when Wi-Fi is unstable.
Install the Sling TV app on a supported device or use a compatible browser.
Use your Sling account credentials to access your subscription.
Select live programming or available on-demand content.

Wi-Fi signal strength, network congestion, router placement, device software, app version and internet performance can all affect playback. If one device works while another does not, compare the devices before assuming the service itself is down.
