Sling TV Support Guide
A practical support guide for common Sling TV account, app, device and playback issues.
What support can this guide cover?
You can use this guide for first-line troubleshooting: login problems, app crashes, playback failures, buffering, device setup and connection checks. Account-specific actions such as changing a subscription or recovering billing information must be completed through Sling.
Login problems
Confirm the email address, password and keyboard settings. If the credentials are rejected, use Sling’s official password recovery process. Avoid repeatedly entering guesses because account security controls can temporarily restrict attempts.
App problems
Close the Sling app completely and reopen it. Restart the streaming device, check for an app update and confirm that the device software is current. If the problem continues on only one device, reinstalling the app can help.
Playback problems
Try another channel or program. If other content works, the issue may be limited to a particular stream or program. If everything fails, check the network connection and compare another device on the same network.
Billing and subscription questions
Billing, cancellation, plan changes and account-specific refund questions require access to the Sling account. Use Sling’s official Help Center or account tools for those actions.
When to escalate
Contact official Sling support when the issue remains after basic troubleshooting, when multiple devices are affected, or when the problem involves your account, subscription, billing or service availability.
